Shapeshifting: New Work in Sculpture by Meg Lipke
Meg Lipke’s installation creates dialogues: between framed paintings, textiles, objects, and sculptures; between ideas of authorship, as some work is Lipke’s, some is her grandmother's, and some is found; and, between time periods when pieces refer to industrialization and mill work that ended in the 20th century.

A Sense of Place: Connecting with Nature
Jim Mott, Jonathan Nix, Gar Waterman
Jim Mott, Jonathan Nix, Gar Waterman
The exhibition features the works of three visual artists, Jim Mott, Jonathon Nix and Gar Waterman, each of whom connects with his subjects in visually personal and evocative ways. Mott will exhibit selections from a series of plein air paintings. In gestural and thoughtfully rendered drawings, Nix brings local trees to life in charcoal on paper. Waterman’s materials range from onyx to metal to wood, while keeping natural, organic form at the heart of his sculptures.

A Mentor—Mentee Exhibition
This exhibition displays work from two long-standing collaborations and friendships. Fran McCormick and Audrey Bensley were our teachers. They have remained our mentors. Their own artistic work and their encouragement over many decades has helped shape and fuel our work as artists, and now, as teachers too. Over time their lasting commitment to us has cemented strong bonds and deep connections. The work featured in this show reflects some of the cross-pollination and sharing of ideas between we four teachers. We are deeply indebted to Fran and Audrey for their willingness to share their work with this community and for sticking by us.
