P a i n t i n g

At times my painting process involves the conscious exercise of how to interpret what I see. Other times it is purely intuitive and without analysis.
I am intrigued by the visual dialogue between representation and abstraction. When I paint, I am keep their relationship close and the conversation alive.
I am at the point in my practice where I love to "binge" paint for hours at a time and often until I finish a piece.
The older I become the more valuable and easier it is to shed the art-school painting "shoulds" and to devise my own rules.
